The Business 2.0 Blog reported a story about a possible move by Yahoo! to buy Flickr, which offers online photo sharing. Now social software and social network are a hit on the net, both users and software developers are rushing toward this way. Earlier this month Ask Jeeves bought Bloglines earlier this month. If this is the truth, what’s the next? Del.icio.us?

Blogging is popular, but I never think professors other than from CS department will likely to involve in such an activity. Watch their personl pages on university’s websites, you will get such an conclusion. But I found more and more professors are blogging now. Such as Quantum Diaris, a collection of blogs from physists which is delicated to the World Year of Physics. I also happen to find a collection of blogs from law professors: Law Professor Blogs, which wants to offer resources, news & information for law school professors.

BTW: I happen to found that I can access to TypePad served blogs, while Blogspot can’t be accessed now.

We use Post-it every day, but not in such a creative way as this.

Star Wars – Episode III will be last of Star Wars movie series. As some people (Blog) waiting on the street for the show (related story), someone just put quite a few shots of the whole movie on his site.

Yeah, it will spoil your experience enjoying the movie, but I can’t wait.

Yeah, it true. It is part of Microsoft Research, and its website is available here. They are running several projects in collaboration with academic institutes, but they even offer a link to a publication on ‘Microsoft Research Technical Report’. Bioinformatics is in fact a Linux-prevailed academic field and most of the related tools only runs on *NIX systems. Now Microsoft also wants to make money from here into medical industry?

Let’s wait and see.
