“BaRf stands for “Bioinformatics aggregated RSS feeds”. It provides RSS feeds of titles and abstracts of the most recent papers published by journals that may be of relevance for people involved in Bioinformatics. It offers about 70 journals’ TOC in RSS feeds. It is very handy as you don’t need to filling many forms to subscribe to the journals’ TOC which are often required for TOC alerts. It also lessens the mail servers burden and your mail number.
I think many people are moving toward this way. HubMed offers RSS feed to your search on PubMed so you will get new search results every day with the traditional mail alerts filling your inbox.
